Concept of laboratory standardization, certification and accreditation was introduced in developed countries in 1990s. Keeping abreast with them North Delhi Pathology Clinic took the lead and obtained following certifications/ accreditations: |
- Reference Laboratory status of NEQAP of IAPM.
- ISO 9002:1995 from TUV Suddeutschland, Germany in the year 2000.
- NABL Accreditation based on ISO 17025:1999 standard in the year 2002.
- NABL Accreditation based on ISO 15189:2003 in the year 2005 (vide certificate no M 0001).
- ISO 9001:2000 certification by URS-UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Services) in the field of Medical Laboratory Testing and providing Proficiency Testing Support in the Year 2006.
- NABL Accreditation based on ISO 15189:2007 in the year 2008.
- ISO 9001:2008 certification by URS-UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Services) in the field of Medical Laboratory Testing and providing Proficiency Testing Support in the Year 2009.
